iPhone 14: what you need to know
iphone 14 release date
For now, there is no word on an exact launch day or time. We’ve heard that the event could take place on September 13th, though. It should be out in about a week.
iphone 14 price
The pricing of the new iPhone model is not yet revealed, although the iPhone 13 started at $799 / £779 / AU$1,349.
If the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max get a punch-hole camera instead of a notch, the iPhone 14 will appear a lot like the iPhone 13. It’s possible that the iPhone 14 small could be replaced by a larger iPhone 14 Max.
With OLED screens that measure 6.1 inches (or 6.06 inches) by 1170 pixels (or 6.7 inches) by 1284 pixels (or 6.68 inches), iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max could feature 6.7-inch (or 6.68-inch) displays. You should expect the Pro versions to have a 120Hz refresh rate and the other models to have 60Hz refresh rates.
The primary cameras on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max could feature 48 MP (up from 12MP on the current models). But a triple-lens camera is expected on all but the bare-bones iPhone 14, which will instead have two rear-facing lenses.
The A16 Bionic chipset is expected to be in every iPhone 14, although the Pro models could feature up to 2TB of storage and 8GB of RAM (up from the current maximum of 6GB) (up from a current maximum of 1TB). However, some reports claim that the iPhone 14 and 14 Max will still be powered by the A15 Bionic processor from last year.
Batteries haven’t been revealed yet, but it’s possible that as phones get fatter to accommodate their larger batteries, their capacity may rise.
